14th of August 2009, was witnessed as the best Azadi (Independance day) throughtout the history of Jhelum. All young generation was on the streets with flags, banners, colorfull t-shirts and some with bikes, cars...

Complete road from Jada to Shandar Chowk and from Dingipully to Cantt Chowk was crowded and it was not possible for a walking man to cross the roads... heavy rush with loud voices, songs etc were there and people were very happy doing this.
