With latest improvement in our commution system, new roads are bieng built at Jhelum and all the local old streets with brick work are getting vanished and replaced with new concrette meterial. Latest improvements :

• All major roads including Qabristan Road, Asria to Court Road, Civil line road, and connecting roads from Jhelum Courts to Kala Gujran, and Mohammadi Chowk to Kala Gujran are built and in working order now with no more bumps.

• Jhelum is now at high bandwidth highway since launch of Wateen services last year, now PTCL and Link Dot Net are also providing best broadband DSL services right here in Jhelum with good packages. Student community is getting 30% discounts on DSL packages except of Wateen.

• Mobile Telephone Companies are installing new mobile towers to expand their services throughout the district Jhelum. Its really a good effort to mentain quality of service. Very soon Each Jhelumite will have his own mobile if government stopped implimenting taxes on this service.

• International Banks are opening branches in Jhelum, Barclays, Rbs, Standard Chartered, CitiBank, Bank Al Habib and much more have already started working in the Area.

• WorldCall has laid its fiberoptics throughout the city of Jhelum for future project of FTTH with Tripple Play service. Launch date is not announced yet.

• New Stream of Towers are bieng constructed and some started work in the district which will improve the business sector.
